1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Antonine website, the Antonine platform (including DealFilter, Diligence, The Vault, and the Assistant), and any related communications. References to "Antonine," "we," "us," and "our" mean Antonine, the company operating this website and platform. References to "you" mean visitors to our website, prospective customers, and authorized users of customer accounts.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account & contact information. Name, email address, firm name, role, and similar details you submit when requesting access, signing up, or contacting us.
  • Communications. Messages you send to us by email, in product, or through forms on this website.
  • Customer content. Documents, files, queries, and other inputs you or your firm upload to the platform. We treat this as Customer Data and handle it under section 4 below.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data. Pages viewed, features used, timestamps, referring URLs, approximate location derived from IP address, and similar telemetry.
  • Device data. Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and language preferences.
  • Cookies & similar technologies. We use a small number of cookies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and measure aggregate site traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser; some features will not work without them.

Information from third parties

  • Authentication providers (such as single sign-on systems your firm uses) when you log in.
  • Service providers that help us operate the platform, send email, or analyze website usage.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Antonine website and platform.
  • Respond to inquiries and support requests.
  • Send transactional and account-related communications.
  • Send marketing communications about Antonine when you have opted in or where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Customer data & AI

We treat documents, files, queries, and outputs your firm puts into the platform as Customer Data. Customer Data belongs to your firm. We act as a data processor with respect to it, and we handle it under the following commitments:

  • We do not train foundation models on your Customer Data. Customer Data is not used to train any general-purpose AI model, ours or any vendor's, that would be exposed to other customers.
  • Tenant isolation. Each firm's Customer Data is stored in a logically isolated environment and is not commingled with other firms' data.
  • Use limited to providing the service. We process Customer Data to operate the platform for your firm, including running models, generating outputs, and producing the structured knowledge graph your firm queries.
  • Vendor models. When the platform calls third-party model providers (for example, large language model APIs), we configure those calls so providers do not retain your prompts or outputs for model training, in accordance with their enterprise terms.
  • Aggregated & de-identified statistics. We may produce aggregated, de-identified statistics about platform use (for example, latency, error rates, feature adoption) that do not identify your firm or any individual.

5. Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We share information in the following limited cases:

  • Service providers. Cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring, payment processing, and AI model providers acting under contract on our behalf.
  • Legal & safety. When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Antonine, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
  • With your consent. Any other sharing not described above will be with your consent.

6. Subprocessors

We use a small set of subprocessors to operate the platform, including cloud infrastructure providers, model providers, and operational tooling. A current list is available to customers on request. We require subprocessors to maintain appropriate security and confidentiality protections.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular review of our practices. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to provide the platform to your firm, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Customer Data is retained according to your firm's contract with us; on termination, Customer Data is deleted or returned in accordance with that contract.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at zach@antonine.ai. If you are a user of a customer account, please direct requests about Customer Data to your firm; we will assist your firm in responding.

If you believe we have not handled your request appropriately, you may have the right to complain to a data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

10. International transfers

Antonine is based in the United States. If you access the platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses where required.

11. Children

Antonine is a business product and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Your continued use of the website or platform after the effective date of an updated policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
